🛠️ 1. PowerShell 7.4 & Python 3.10 Runbooks Are Now GA
Azure Automation now officially supports PowerShell 7.4 and Python 3.10 runbooks in general availability across most Azure public regions. This means:
• You can write runbooks using the latest language features, performance improvements, and security enhancements.
• Older runbook runtimes (PowerShell 7.1/7.2 and Python 2.7/3.8) are deprecated and not recommended — aligning Automation with the newest supported runtimes.
