Platform, Security, Workplace
I’m Lars Schouwenaars, a 37-year-old IT professional from the Netherlands. I have been working in the IT industry since 2008. Over the years, I have taken on a variety of technical roles. These experiences led me to my current position as a Solution Architect at Triple P Nederland B.V. in Nieuwegein.
My main areas of focus are Azure infrastructure and networking, Modern Workplace, and security. I have a strong interest in Identity and Access Management. I am also passionate about automation, helping organisations work more efficiently with consistent and secure IT environments.
Alongside my primary role, I contribute to shaping our managed services product portfolio. I also oversee our organisation’s Microsoft Partner designations. Over the years I have earned various Microsoft certifications, reflecting my commitment to staying current with the latest technologies.
Outside of work, I am a sports enthusiast. I enjoy watching Formula 1, going to the gym, and running regularly. For me, sports are a great way to maintain balance alongside a busy career in technology.

After working in IT since 2008 and gaining experience across a range of technical roles, I felt it was time to start sharing my knowledge with the wider IT community.
Why I started writing
Working in technology means continuous learning. New features, services, and best practices are introduced constantly. This is especially true in cloud, security, and modern workplace solutions. While working on real-world projects, I regularly come across useful insights and lessons learned. Writing this blog is my way of documenting and sharing those experiences.
What to expect
Some posts will focus on step-by-step configurations. Others will explore new capabilities, best practices, or architectural considerations. My goal is simple: to share practical knowledge that helps other IT professionals stay informed and solve real-world challenges. Whether you work in a large enterprise or a smaller organisation, I hope you find something useful here.
